Yom Huledet Same'ach!

Yom Huledet Same'ach, ha khavrah sh'li meod!

Do you realize that we've been friends for almost 10 years now?  That amazes me!  We've shared so many adventures, tried new hobbies, traveled the country, talked theology and life issues for hours on end, laughed and cried together over the years, watched our children grow, prayed and worshiped together, and so much more.

We've supported each other in our marriages through difficult times encouraging each other in every way possible.  We've even cleaned bathrooms, visited the hospital, vacuumed and set up an entire building after late night celebrations.  Wow... thank you.  Thank you for being my friend - one of your waifs and strays once upon a time - and teaching me so much about what friendship really means and how to serve with everything that is in me.  You are my heart, my dearest of friends - I love you and will always be there for you.

Oh, do you mind?  My friend wanted to come along with birthday wishes for you, too.

You humble me, my friend. I love you more than I can say. Having you by my side has been an honor and a privilege.

Oh, and thanks for bringin' a friend along. :-)

Lisa, what a gift this post is. So fitting.

I love watching the two of you be friends. You both know what that truly is, and I'm grateful to know you both.
