A Birthday Ramble

“There is still no cure for the common birthday.” ~John Glenn

So, when birthdays aren't really your favorite thing, what do you do?  Let your friends take you on a little adventure, that's what.  That's what we did for Liz anyway!  Off to Snohomish to poke around a huge antique mall, then off to Duke's on Ruston Way for their delectable Cajun chicken corn chowder, wasabi tuna quesadillas, and a made from scratch margarita - worth the drive for sure.

Have to say I didn't get many worthy pics to share - we just enjoyed talking our way through the day just hanging together.  Here are the few worth sharing...

Happy birthday, my friend!

childhood memories - Mom used to read these to me
haha! If you look close you can see all three of us!

Lisa, I read the Mother West Wind books, too, as a child. Loved them so much, I bought the set for my own kiddos.

I'm glad you all got away for the day.
