Favorite Festival?!

For the past several years I've said that Yom Kippur was my favorite festival as I love the worship we experience in our community along with the time of introspection. Well, this year has changed my mind...

After spending most of the day at the ER with Liz, Al, Alex, Kit, and Elliot while they checked out my son made the fast easy, to be sure, but not exactly the way any of us would've liked. Here's the whole story of what happened here:

I am so thankful that both the boys are fine! HaShem's mercies are truly new every morning! My heart is so full of gratitude to Him for preserving my son - for that I am grateful this Yom Kippur.

I did manage to get a few pics of our Kol Nidrei service Sunday evening as well as a couple of the prior Shabbat service - hope you enjoy:

Love, love, love the pics, my dear friend. And, I am so glad all ended up favorable.

Our G-d is mighty and awesome, and I am so thankful that He protected the boys from certain tragedy. Baruch HaShem!

Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics, Lisa.

Taking less and less for granted every day.

"The LORD is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him."
Nahum 1:7

Now I will be humming that all day long.

Thank you, my dear friends! I am sooo glad Alex is doing fine, too - you take care of yourself, too, my dear Hendel.

I love you both! :o)
