Disney Adventures! Days 13 & 14

Can you believe that this was my first time visiting Disneyland?  I really didn't know what to expect, so you can imagine that it was a total thrill!  From Small World, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain (that is a one time thing for me), the Jungle Boat, the train, all the cool little shops, live entertainment - so reminiscent of the Disney I watched on TV as a child.  I loved it all!

My absolute favorite ride, though, was Star Tours - we did that three times! It was like being in the actual movie, living it - totally awesome!

We spent some time in California Adventure as part of our travel package.  I was impressed with the usual Disney quality - the replication of famous places in California, Cars Land, the giant ferris wheel, and the roving performers.  We got to see a parade featuring Bug's Life and Toy Story characters and a performance from "Newsies" - both very cool!

We found a Starbucks, too!
