A Sunday Adventure

As is our custom, Liz and I ended up with a pleasant sunny afternoon with no plans except to be out and not at home.  So, after the choir performed at Life Center, we took ourselves to breakfast, then headed down I-5 after deciding that Tacoma held no interest for us.  We ended up in Centralia at the outlet mall where we made some great purchases and ended up with well earned sore feet and some unexpected fun pics!

The first set was taken at a little park in Centralia that boasts an old blockhouse - of course, we had to trek across the grass in our heels to explore a bit.

A youngling and his friends entertained us with their chatter and curiosity.

Once we decided we were more than done, we headed home making a stop at St. Martin's University in Lacey.  We thoroughly enjoyed quietly exploring the Abbey Church grounds trying not to disturb the Benedictines singing inside.
