Larry, Jacob, and I spent the weekend with my Mom to celebrate her 91st birthday, not that she especially cares about that, but it gave our time a pleasant focus. I did, however, forget to take pics of the bouquet from my garden and the oatmeal cake with broiled frosting (an old recipe of Mom's).
We went for a drive up to Dworshak Dam near the town of Orofino, not far from little Kamiah. Mom had never been there and really enjoyed our drive to the lower and upper parts as well as across the high prairie where we could see all the way over Montana's snow covered Bitterroot Mountains.
Then, of course, I had to get a pic of Larry and Jacob for Father's Day...
The rest of the trip is coming - it takes a long time to sort through and tweak the best ones.

Your mom is looking so good! I hope I look that good at 91! :-)
Thanks for sharing your trip. Your Mom looks great. Love the pic of you standing next to her.
She looks fantastic! You tell her we all think so, okay?
Lisa, darling! Great blog and pictures of our mom! She does look great doesn't she! Even though she is in pain, she lives her life. I will be so happy to bring her some Lady's Mantle plants when I go there at the end of July. They'll look great by her rose. Thanks for the pictures and trip memories. Love, Paige
