This week, Liz and I took a much needed sanity break - it's been far too long. So, we packed up Speeder and headed to Sunriver, Oregon where her family has a time share. What a treat! We drove along the Columbia through The Dalles on the way down, drove all around the Sunriver - Bend area, spent a day shopping in Sisters, then headed home over the Cascades through Salem. We did a little exploring around some beautiful farmland before heading up I-5 to home.
We enjoyed our usual driving music, laughed, talked lots, shared some tears, stopped when it suited us to explore and take some pics, relaxed in the condo watching Star Wars and talked some more. I used Jacob's camera as mine was in the shop, so they aren't what I normally snap - I'm just glad I had a camera to use, though. Here are my favorites:

Nice job with the substitute camera, my friend. I'm thankful you got to take much-needed time away. Always a good thing.
