Dayy 8 found us heading to Goodyear, Arizona to visit our good friends, Trev and Lou - take a look at what we did there! On the way, though, we stopped at a roadside monument that was truly worth stopping for despite three busloads of Europeans crowding the paths - it was interesting hearing the tour guide addressing them in Italian! Anyway, here are my favs from that stop:
Then, on to Lake Havasu to visit Chuck's brother - you can see that it was a little on the warm side as we drove towards our destination...
He took us on his party boat for a fabulous excursion on the lake taking in their famous London Bridge, some lighthouse replicas designed by a local club, bathers along the shore and Pirate's Cove where we stopped for libations.
Now, on to California!
