Ballard Sunday Market

Sunday found the Three Musketeers headed towards Seattle to enjoy the street market in Ballard. We were presented with a photo challenge to add interest to our usual pics (at least mine).  To see those, click here.  Now for the rest of the market...Let's start with architecture!  Seems I was looking up more than at the actual market this time.  I love these old buildings - the texture, design, and color always capture my interest.

Now, for the market - I know there isn't much to do with the actual market, but these caught my eye:

We enjoyed a repast at The Matador on Market Street, taking time to analyze our photo challenge collections.

We headed to the famous Ballard Locks after our meal.  Lots of tourists with their cameras and curiosity crowded along the rails looking at the boats rise to the level of the next waterway, crossing over to see the salmon ladder and more boats.  Unfortunately, my camera battery died, so I didn't get much...
