Potlucks

Potlucks?!  Now, I'm positive I've been to more than most of you - no braggin' here, just a fact.  Let's see...

52 weeks in a year, 2 potlucks every Shabbat for approximately 8 years, plus at least 8 festival potluck meals each year.  That's about 888 potlucks.  Then add about 4 more years of just one potluck per week plus the 8 festival meals.  That's another 236 potlucks for a grand total of 1114 potlucks in the last 12ish years.  I'm sure I've missed a few in there somewhere...

Now, add to that food prep, set-up and clean-up for all those potlucks... okay, I'm exhausted already and it's not even noon yet.

Did I mention wedding and baby showers, weddings, Passover (not really a potluck, but lots of work), and the occasional conference?  No, well, let's not add those in right now.

Now to finish those cookies for tomorrow's potluck!
