A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching. ~Sivananda
I chatted with a couple of dogs with their owners. The first was Lulubelle, a sad-faced, sweet bloodhound that was a rescue. Love her pink bandana! Then there was the Boerboel - a South African Mastiff, according to his owner. He insisted on finding the largest stick (log, really) possible for playin' fetch.
There were several folks out fishing most from the shore except one brave gentleman who braved the icy water in his chest-waders. I even saw an artist sitting among the driftwood with paintbrush in hand as I strolled towards some younger folks writing a message in the sand. People were amazingly friendly as we exchanged smiles and a few polite words.
In the distance to the north, was Mt. Baker while to the South was Mt. Rainier and the Seattle skyline. The water was clear and cold, though I thoroughly enjoyed walking along in the sunshine.
