In Memoriam

It's been almost a year now since a couple of tragic events affecting my dearest friend, myself, and an amazing number of others - the sudden passing of her mother and the loss of our community.  Yesterday, we visited a place of many memories, ghosts my friend calls them.  It was a time of remembering like sitting shiva.   We walked the beach, climbed the rocks hearing strains of music, remembering friends we thought closer than family.  Combining laughter and sadness, we wound our way through the day remembering...

What a good day.

Great pics! I just loved that little country store we found - very cool

You had pictures of two of my favorite things: sunflowers and blueberries! I saved both for myself. Don't be surprised if the sunflower ends up on my LBing logbook sometime.

I'm sorry for the losses you all have sustained and I'm glad you got a chance to reflect.

And I'm glad you survived having your car in the middle of the water (don't you love GPS units that do that?)

Blessings.

Recording the joyful and the sorrowful days . . . and those days that are mixed with both -- I'm thankful that you do it.

Appreciate your sharing!

You are truly blessed with good friends and good memories to help, a little, with the bad memories. :)
