Sure Signs of Spring

~ sunshine and rain within 5 minutes of each other

~ having my sunroof open

~ open windows in my house and car

~ the first bug guts of the season on my windshield

~ turtlenecks are much too hot

~ a mad desire to wear my flops

~ the spatchy birds playing in the sun

~ the bunny hopping around outside my window

~ owls swooping silently in the light of a street lamp

~ deer feeding along side the road at night

~ a coyote slinking across the road

~ havdalah is awfully late now

~ wild bleeding hearts

~ deep joy and gratitude

~ hope for the future

~ receding darkness

~ healing

~ shedding layers

~ moving forward

~ change of status

~ new beginnings

~ cleaning out the old leaven
