By request, I've been pulling my random thoughts together into a nice, concise list of my own of all those things I most want to do before I die - click here for why it's called a bucket list. They may sound the same as others in some respects, but they are my goals...
* First on the list: I most definitely want to travel to the Land (Israel). I've been longing to go for many years now...
* Okay, more travel - just the two of us (Liz and me) with no one but ourselves to be responsible for. I know there are so many places just waiting to be experienced out there.
* Definitely, a Star Wars Celebration - that would be so absolutely cool for us (Master Db'u and me)!
* How about that condo overlooking water? I sooo want to move closer to my life - out here in the boonies is not my cup of tea. Of course, adding to that no money worries...
* I would like to see my son grown up happy and able to support himself. This parenting thing has been a difficult road so far - we're dealing with his Asperger's mixed with the typical teenage issues, you know.
* I want to be healthy and strong for many years to come - I'm working now on reversing the damage done over the years. It really helps to have a friend to keep me in line that way (gotta keep up, you know!).
* One thing that I continually strive for is maturity. For whatever reasons, it's just in the last few years that I've truly felt like I'm 'growing up' (you'd think by age 50, this wouldn't be an issue), learning who I really am, and letting go of so much of my 'baggage' collected over the years, having healthy relationships (no more enabling...). So, this definitely belongs on the bucket list as abstract as it is.
*Yes, this sounds redundant held up to my best bud's list, but true nonetheless. I, too, so want to hear "Well done good and faithful servant". To serve well wherever the Master puts me is really my first and foremost goal.
* Here's one she doesn't have - a tummy tuck and a breast reduction! lol! Yep - sounds good to me.
* Okay, last but not least - I want to get past this phase of premenopause ASAP... 'nuf said about that!
Wow! When I read through the list again, a plethora of thoughts as to what each of these entails rushes through my head. I guess I'd best get moving if all these things are going to happen!

Enjoyed your list, my friend. This current trip sounds much like a bucket list item, too. Have fun -- and may the Lord make a way for these other dreams to be realized.
