Meditations...

Okay, so I have a variety of thoughts rolling around in my head today. Somehow, they need to get out so I can move on with my day. Here goes:

When do you speak up in a situation where someone you love is making a decision that you know is wrong? They already know that you think it's not good. Is it best to just let it go and watch things unfold or to fill the void of silence with all the thoughts they really don't want to hear anyway (and I do have a lot to say)? I opt for silence most often - sometimes that speaks louder than words.

Hendel and I are planning our next lightsabers - ones that actually light up. Where to start? Do we build them from scratch learning how to connect all the electrical stuff ourselves? What type of blade shall we use? Should we design our own hilts - we really do like the ones we have. Should we just hire someone with the expertise to do it for us?

Sewing - I'm just learning how to do it after many decades of not wanting to. Man, why did I wait? We plan to sew new tunics in time for Norwescon next month. That should be fun!

Hormones - I'm in the midst of that time of life when the hormones are unpredictable (I think some of you can relate...). It seems that it's been going on far too long - will it ever be over? That's a whole other blog in itself!

It's been a couple of months now since I started working out on a regular basis with Hendel - we have a great time going to Curves and chatting as we go through the circuit. We tend to draw a bit of attention as we laugh a lot. Hey, why not enjoy it? Then we got into yoga, too. I just love starting my day with that - it's a challenge still as I have many years of 'not doing' to make up for.
That Sunny D - he's such a hoot! You know he got stuck in the pantry last night - so, he pulled some potatoes out of the bag and had them rolling around the floor! Then, he pulled one out again this morning to play with! He's the bounciest cat I've ever had, racing around the house like a mad thing and bouncing off furniture and our legs, grabbing whatever he can as we walk by - an arm, a leg, a head. I'm so glad we have him - thanks Hendel!

Well, no great shakes, but at least the thoughts are out there for now.
